Which career choice would be more rewarding and beneficial- Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech?

I have recently been interested in two fields :Certified Nursing Assisting and Patient Care Tech. I was told that Patient Care Tech's are trained more intensively than CNA's and are more highly paid. Which occupation do you prefer and would recommend? Also can you please inform me of the pay rate of each job and give me a brief job description? Thanks for your time and help!

P.S. I am also certified in First Aid, AED and CPR....will that increase my pay?

depends on what job you want and the qualifications required for the job. these types of jobs are often stepping stones to a better paying job in the medical field. visit a counselor at your local community college. pay is dependent on your location, experience, and education.

Why not go to nursing school? You'll tire quickly of giving baths and wiping butts.
