What would an aed tell u to do if the patient is asystolic? Start CPR. You can only defibrillate in Vt or Vf An aed will not indicate a shock for asystole, but if you were to go into asystole in a hospital, the doctor would still shock you. I don't know why that is exactly, but I've seen it. |
