Where can i purchace an AED? |
I'm seriously considering upgrading my first aid/cpr with the use of an AED machine.I'm curious as how the AED machine works on both men and women! I know AEDs aren't difficult to use and they are made to be easy and self-explanatory; but, if you're seriously thinking of buying one you should definitely take a class on them. I'm certified to teach such classes as well as CPR for the professional rescuer, regular CPR, first aid, etc. Call your local Red Cross.. i think the classes are fairly cheap or even free! www.aedsuperstore.com. It works the same on men and women the pad placement is the same. If you place them any where different say on women than the electrical current wont get to where it needs to go. Do you have relatives who have had heart issues? The cost of an AED is generally cost-prohibitive, although home use AEDs have been recently comming on the market. I recommend Laerdal as a retailer for medical things, and Phillips as the manufacturer for AEDs from my experience. good luck I'm curious as how the AED machine works on both men and women! You're kidding, right? If you don't know the answer to that, please delay your purchase.... |
