Quastion about Autoclave !! plz Help? |
we're using the autoclave in dental office 15 minutes should be the actual sterilizing time for instruments, after the pressure has built. It doesn't count the time that the pressure is building up or the cool down phase. So it may take 1/2 hour or so to run a load. Ours is a Tuttenaur (Probably didn't spell that right) and we set the temp at I believe 273. We always run the whole cycle on 35 mintutes, which includes heating up and steriliting. The timer goes off before the autoclave cools down. |
