How long does it take an autoclave to disinfect utensils? |
Autoclaves are those heating/steam machines they use in hospitals to clean utensils. I've only seen them myself, but I don't know how long they usually take to thouroughly disinfect the utensils. Does anyone know? autoclaves kill bacteria combining heat and pressure, it takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on the autoclave and the number of utensils put into it. |
