I had blood transfusion 14 years ago, will this cause me to have hepatitis c? |
is blood transfusion can be the cause of liver malfunction and hepatitis c, does this have significance with hematuria? it is possible to acquire hep C via transfusion. See your MD and have blood work to include liver tests and hep abc panel. also have your urine and kidneys evaluated.. Don't pre diagnosis until you are properly evaluated. There are many causes for your potential problem but don't sit and wait! Good Luck! No it does not mean you will have Hep C.But for your piece of mind go to the doctor and get a simple blood test.Good luck. I doubt that the blood transfusion is the cause of your liver malfunction or you having hep c. If you have blood in your urine, you probably have a UTI. See your doctor for antibiotics. |
