Chemicals or Emotions???

Someone asked this but I never got back to read the answers.
Are moods, character, feelings, love emotions, etc. just chemical reactions in your brain?
Like attraction to someone... is it a complex mixing of chemicals which trick us into feeling strong feelings, but actually it is just Mother Nature doing her best to achieve breeding with the right individuals?
And is sadness, happiness etc. just chemical?
You get the drift.

Lets take attraction for example:

Are you trying to suggest your brain upon seeing someone decides to make some chemicals to make you feel attracted to that person?

Could it not be that the attraction you feel creates a reaction in your brain that produces chemicals to stimulate other parts of the Brain (and body) to cause and effect..

I think of the body and the brain as a machine... a vehicle for the real "us" the part of "us" that feels instead of thinks or does.

A combination of reasoning and chemicals. Everything you feel is chemical however how things affect you may be reasoning. It depends on how you think abour things. However, people control their emotions only to some extent.

i always go with my gut. if you feel it in ya belly, its an emotion from the motherboard, your head , i believe is your eyes trying to deceive you and your heart lets you down almost everytime. i would say your belly is the centre of your emotional state and if it keeps you awake at night mother nature trys to heal your mind body and soul regardles of any discomfort to you or your own...." just a drop emotion from one chemical to another".

Some people like to dowse. They get themselves a pendulum and discover that this vastly increases their intuition. They come to rely on it. Soon, instead of reading a map, they start holding their hand over a road diagram and then going wherever they feel the strongest tingle in their fingertips. Instinct is a good thing, and a powerful thing too. There is a reason though, why we are all blessed with intelligence. You are quite sure now about what you feel. Still, though, you need to know why you feel it.
