Should chemicals be tested before being released to the public? |
I heard recently that 85000 chemicals are in use today in the USA and none have been tested to see if they cause cancer or whatever prior to being released to the public, not to mention the handling of these products, just think of how much of it gets flushed down the drains. I don't know where you heard that.... but under today's laws, all chemical substances have to be tested and a MSDS written up about them (Material Safety Data Sheet). ofcourse, the chemical needs to be tested before relasing. Someone can die from it .. if proper insterction are not there. And it had happend in the past |
