I live in S .Tx and noticed today that the water in the tub and commode are really cloudy and sort of brown?

WHOM DO I CONTACT TO GET THE REAL STORY ON WHATS IN MY FAMILIES TAP WATER?!!!!

Whoever you pay for your water. If you are on a well you contact yourself or send a sample to your county or state lab. It sounds though as if you are seeing temporary effects of a line break and repaif somewhere down the line. That's a typical occurrence when that happens.

If it is brown you probably need a sediment filter installed.

your best bet is to call the water company, there might be something wrong with there filters at the plant, so ya thats not good

contact the local water utility - they have very strict standards for drinking water . . . they should have an annual ccr report listing all the facts and tests that have been done.

Contact your water company, and get a full water test done.

are you on city water if so city water is having problem with the lines and i would take a sample and call public works and ask if there are any problems. if you are on a home well then the water table is low and i would call a plumber to look at the problem. hope this helps;)

Public utilities, water dept. Brown stuff--sounds like rust! Usually they flush that stuff out by opening the hydrants.......
