More (most) aggressive treatment for sleep apnea?

I had a UPPP surgery to help with my sleep apnea (CPAP machine-titration 19), it wasn't effective. I would like to know what are other more aggressive options to help regulate my sleep apnea.

Not sure if they have one in your area, but the "Sleep Wellness Center". I know the guy from the morning show I produce has sleep apnea. He used to fall asleep on air (no joking), and would be drousy during the day. He's been fine ever since they diagnosed it and reccommended he use the machine he currently has... He swears by it.

I would suggest you get a CPAP machine ~ and wear it nightly ~ maybe even a muscle relaxant or sleep aid to get some sleep ~ I have the machine and love it ~ Never slept better! And its been years ~

Go back to your doctor ~ the one that ordered the UPPP surgery ~ tell them whats going on ~ Ask for suggestions, now what !

First, give a CPAP try again, it is a proven treatment with minimal side effect if used correctly. Reexamine if a current pressure of the machine is right for you, or if you might need Bi-pressured treatmnt ( BIPAP) instead. Also, see if the mask is fitting ok with your face ( air leakage will make CPAP less effective. Explore different types of maskes to find what you feel most comfortable.
In the meantime, lose some weight if you have excess pounds (chest does not expand as well if you have a lot of weight on your trunk and belly while in sleep). And, try to sleep on the side ( apnea is generally less severe on the side rather than on the back).
Also, you could talk to dentist if he could desgin oral appliance to keep air way open if the cause is a structural problem of your jaw.
