Will an antiperspirant applied to a few key areas of the face help reduce acne when sweating at night? |
I have been cleaning up my CPAP mask and taking showers more often before I go to bed, but I was wondering about any extra things I could do to prevent the facial acne from coming back. It seems the summer heat and me sweating at night in this mask hasn't been to easy on my face as of late. putting deodorant on your face can only make your acne worse because it will clog your pores. you also run the risk of having some sort of allergic reaction to it. I would try a retin-a or differin type acne treatment which would need to be prescribed by your dermatologist. wow, good question, i suggest askin a doctor though. I have no idea, but I don't like the idea of putting antiperspirant on the face. I think I would ask the doctor. i'm no dermatologist, but I've tried putting de-odorant behind my shoulders cuz i get some acne there and I just think it made it a little worse. Up to you, but I think the oxy-pads would work better. 'sides, I don't think you can prevent sweating from your face since the main source of sweat, I think, is from your hair or the top of your head for you cueballs : ) And we all know "what goes up....must come down" . i dunno. just my opinion.... |
