Best CPAP machine? |
Hello, I need a CPAP machine and since the insurance pay for it I would like suggestions on which machine I should choose. I do this for a living....and let me tell you your options..after asking a few questions... There are just too many to choose from. DeVilbiss, Respironic, Puritan-Bennett, etc are all good brands. My advice is to look at a web site maybe like cpapplus.com and check out the specification of each one. I would recommend that you get one that is self adjusting "automatic". It is a little expensive but it will adjust the pressure you need by itself and it will keep a record of the pressure fluctuations during your sleep. It would probably be wise to also check whether these brands have service centers in your area. I personally use a DeVilbiss CPAP unit coupled with a Puritan-Bennett nasal mask and I have no complaints with it. My mother also uses the same. |
