Buying Crutches? |
Where can I buy crutches for a cheap price? I don't have any broken bones and I'm not injured in any way. I know it sounds weird, but I think crutches are really fun and I want some to goof around with. LOL! I want some really, really, badly! Please help me! WOW i used to think that i was the only one... Report It You know, I realized my dad has some at his office just in case someone wants to borrow them. He works in a funeral home.....Um, so, actually I don't have to buy them anymore. But thanks. Maybe I'll still want some! Report It Thats really dumb. & btw..they aren't fun... Local drug store or Wal Mart! Crutches are no fun if you "have to" use them, thats for sure! Try a garage sale! A lot of them are going on now, and when people don't need crutches anymore they usually sell them! That will be much cheaper than buying them somewhere else since you don't really need them! ebay. or you can get them at a medical supply store for around $40-50. you can even check some thrift stores in your area. i was on crutches for 2 months. go to amazon.com and type in crutches for the search. You can get them for around $30 or try walmart. I suggest calling a drug store as some don't carry them(I hopped into one and was outta luck) Crutches are not fun I was on them for 5 monthes and they make your armpits hurt but if you really really want some crutches go to the hospital and tell the docter that you need some more crutches for your son because the ones he had broke and you had to throw them away. crutches are not fun at all . I know this cause I have a broken ankle . There hard to get around on and they hurt your armpits really bad . Trust me ! I am so the same... I just got a friends cast and gots crutches and took them to school :P Erm... Try the Red Cross (if that is in America). The british ones are MUCH better than the American ones. They hurt less and are more comfy. Take a look at a photo on google... :P |

I know your pain crutches suck... i was told to use them but I didn't because they made my shoulders hurt. later on I had to use them because my knee was so bad I couldn't put weight on ... technique makes all the difference ...I know you asked this a day ago, but to answer again, yes you should use them until the knee heals. Yes crutches stink like crazy, but they help you get better. I tried a little bit of limping toda... Wear the brace and use one crutch. You put the crutch under the opposite arm of your injured leg. So if you hurt your left knee, use the crutch on the right side or vice versa. DO NOT use it on the... You will take up a lot of room with the crutches. You could go and mostly socialize. Maybe you could do some limited dancing near the edge of the dance floor without the crutches. Kind of embarrass... There are companies that make little spikes that can go on the tips of your crutches. Ask the company you got them from. ...wrap hand towels around the top of the crutches...this will make them semi comfry...and make sure the top of the crutches just comes under the arm pit...they should be adjusted to be straight up a... i had the same exact problem.. and i promise no matter how much you try the crutches will never be comfortable.. okay for starters..no you dont have to call the school..when you get on the bus keep... |
