What height should crutches be?

i am 5'5 foot five never actual had crutches what heigh should the crutches, i think the crutches should be 5'4 i was thinking of bying crutches from walgreens, rite aid or thrift store.

with shoe measure the lenth from the heel of your shoe to 5 cm below to your arm pit and without shoefrom the lateral condyle to 5 cm from apex of your arm pit

should be a inch small then your arm pit
