Crutches...? |
im on crutches because of a sprained ankle and my armpits are killing me! any idea how to prevent this? The crutches should be sized properly so that they are not in your armpits, they should be about 1-2 inches below your armpits. They may still rub on the inner part of your arm or chest though which you can help prevent by putting some soft towels over the crutch pads. Good luck! try getting those gel things for crutches. my friend has had to be on crutches and she said they helped If you're not leaning on the crutches much, take the rubber off the tops to stop most of the rubbing. That helped me a lot. I know crutches SUCK! You have 3 options: |
