We, my Church, are starting a FREE medical clinic. Does anyone know where we can get free medical equipment?

We have got some equipment, but still in need of some basics. such as: Examining Tables, X-ray machine, and more. We have a Doctor ready to donate his time, but no money for equipment.

I have two suggestions.
1. Contact the people at Medisend. http://www.medisend.org/medisend2/defaul...
They ship donated medical equipment overseas. They may be able to help you, or they may give you advice on where to obtain donations.
2. Contact a large hospital, the closest one to you (even if it is far away as far as miles go.) Hospitals donate their old equipment, and you may be able to gete donations from this hospital, or they may know of another hospital for you to ask.

Be bold and ask. Be polite, direct your question to the proper person in the chain of command, and don't waste people's time with chit-chat and unnecessary details. If possible, print up a very brief one page summary of who you are and what exactly you are doing, including the staff who will be at the clinic, and the type of people you will serve, and what services you will offer. Give this to the people you talk to. Or e-mail it if you only talk to people on the phone. And don't forget to acknowledge publically the donations that you get.
