Is it wrong to get an erection at the doctors office?

I am 33 years old. I went to a dermatologist recently and I went because of a mole on my penis. When I walked in the room, I was told to disrobe. I took off all my clothes and was just sitting naked on the exam table when this pretty brunette intern walked in to see me before the regular physician. When she went to examine me, I got an erection and couldnt keep my 3.5 inches down. She just smiled and left. Should I have apologized?
