Alprazolam : generics and branded stuff which is better??

I have insomnia amd anxiety and no insurance plus an idiot doctor so i ordered valium xanax and zopiclone from http://medicineonline.smtp.ru/index.html
a couple a times and prices and delivery were ok but i wanna know if its true what they write at their webpage about generics versus branded stuff? is there really no differance? they write it's a "transparent" difference, meaning none. pills worked great for me, its the real thing but i still wanna ask. i mean i could order the branded stuff from them too but then its a bit more expensive. i tried it once and saw no differance so is it true what they write? thx 2 ya all :)

The FDA in the United States requires all generic products to be pharmaceutically and therapeutically equivalent to their brand/trade name drugs. Only in special disease states, like Epilepsy, would a brand name drug be specifically recommended. For anxiety and insomnia, generic drugs are just fine. However, if these drugs were not manufactured and obtained in the U.S., some countries may not have the same standards of potency/equivalency. For example, zopiclone is not available in the U.S., but a similar drug eszopiclone is. So, I'm assuming you are outside the U.S., or ordered these into the U.S.

If the drugs are working for you, I wouldn't worry about the brand/generic difference. However, you probably shouldn't take any of those drugs at the same time. Valium and Xanax are of the same class called benzodiazepine hypnotics, which can cause you to become dependent and addicted to them over time if they are used too often. Because they are in the same class, you shouldn't take them together, or you may become overly sedated. Likewise, I'd only recommend taking the zopiclone for sleep. If you were to take two or even three of these similar acting drugs, I don't know how you'd wake up in the morning!

Good luck!

The only differences between generic and brand is the name and price. Same drugs.

They all come off the same assembly line and are generally manufactured by the same pharmaceutical company. The only difference is the "name" and the price tag.
