Those are controlled substances in the USA, Canada and Mexico I believe. You need a prescription for the. If she is in that much pain bring her to the emergency room and they can prescribe a pain reliever until she sees her doctor.

Those drugs are regulated by the government. They CANNOT be sold without a prescription. They are narcotics. If your mom is in that much pain, she needs to go to the emergency room. The emergency rooms have to see her regardless of her ability to pay. They can also help her get into the Dr. sooner.
