My health insurance covers for durable medical equipment.would bathtub jets,or portable spas be included? |
I have rheumatoid arthritus.go to the dr every month, taking medications.so this would help me extrmely. And you wonder why health insurance is so expensive? One of the primary reasons our health care has gotten so expensive is insurance fraud. How often would this be abused if insurance companies approved it? Depends on how your Dr would write it up. Call your insurance company and ask to be sure. No, unfortunately not. Not even if your doctor called your insurance company. Sorry. I'm pretty sure that with a little cajoling, a doctor could prescribe you to have a bathtub with water jets. I doubt your insurance would care for the idea... But, as long as your on top of it financially, a spa would boost the value of your home a little too. What a great bargaining chip to use on your other half. |
