My doctors say i have this virus and its not serious....? |
right 5 weeks ago i fainted for a second and woke up and then went to bed as i didnt feel to good, the next day i felt nausea and lightheaded the whole day, this continued throughout these 5 weeks, i also 2 weeks ago had a stomach ache and went to hospital they thought i might have apenditis and they were wrng and again believed it was the virus. ive been and had a checkup 3 times, ive had 3 blood tests and recently been to professional in children. i am 16 by the way. i have also found out since this virus i have lost weight, about a stone. can anyone please be more specific and tell me when will it go away and will i get nay more symptoms and stuff like this. also i have been asked to take around 3 bottles of lucozade sport as it contains electrolytes. I hate this type of situation! I am 49 and have Psoriasis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, plus a few other health problems. It started at the age of 16! I fainted three times, once while waiting for a Bus, once while painting the ceiling and the other while watching a sport, so not 'real' reason? My Mother took me to the Physician who examined me and said 'She is either menopause or she has a viral infection. As she is too young for the first, we will go with the second' and prescribed some antibiotics? Therefore I took the drugs and after a 30 day course I noted a small wart on my right knee. It spread, but was the start of Psoriasis. For many years I blamed the antibiotics, until I saw a famous person, now deceased, who had the same fainting and erupted in Psoriasis. It was only then [age 30] did I realize it was not the antibiotics but whatever the 'bug' was. The Arthritis started at 21 years of age, so I have been plagued all my life. Therefore do what they say, keep the fluid up, rest up, do not over exert yourself and hope for the best. As they have done blood tests, I assume all was normal although you did not ask for the results? Perhaps you should ask? Good Luck |
