What happens to you if you drink moldy soda by accident?

Soo before I go to bed I needed a drink. I asked my boyfriend if I could have the rest of his. So I go for the drink on the left, tasted like bland soda water but then I felt a chunk (sorry if it's too graphic for your taste, I don't blame you), and said I think you got a floaty in it.. we investigated. I had drank from an old Wendy's cup, not his drink on the right (yes I know I obviously needed to clean, I'm on top of that now DEFINATLY, and I'm not here for commentary, just answers, thak you). I immediatly went to throw up for a good five minutes, mouthwashed, evgen swallowed a teeny bit of it, and drank as much fresh fluids as I could.. Just incase I didn't get rid of it or something.. does anyone know what will most likely happen? I at least want a warning that I could possibly end up in the hospital.

You'll be fine; you tossed it up, and that should pretty much take care of it. Anything that's left is going to be killed by the hydrochloric acid in your stomach, so don't sweat it.

Probably nothing will happen. If something would happen I would guess it might be a little digestive discomfort. I wouldn't worry about it.

Awesome story! I guess if you puked and washed your mouth out you should be ok. You might get the poops tomorrow. Our bodies are pretty strong and there's a good chance that we ingest some nasty things routinely anyways, so I think you'll be fine.

"a floaty in it" ...LOL!!!

Peace-

Ever notice Wendy's cups seem to be the only ones that mold like that?

I've definately done that, I was fine, so I can't imagine you'd be any different.

You'll be okay.
