Foot Cramps???

Ever since I was little when I would lay in bed in the nighttime, I would get horrible aches in my feet. The aches were at the top of my feet and sometimes felt like they were in my ankles. This pain usually happened after I walked a lot in that day (if that is the cause?). These aches stopped like 3 years ago but I was recently in the hospital due to a staph infection and when I got home (I havent been active in like a month, only walking very very very little) and went on my bed I got these aches again. Someone please tell me what they are and some quick and good remedies

Wow, this sounds like a nerve impingement, but it can be from your ankle, all the way to your cervical spine. You can try a local heat wrap at night, for about 1/2 hr every night around the ankles, but again, a nerve could be pinched somewhere else. How is your butt area, any pain or numbness (sciatic nerve)?

Some time you can get a foot massage and when they hurt like that put it in the foot massage for a few minutes...They have some stuff called ACTIVON that you can rub on and it will help too..
