I haven't been sick in two years...please help me?

Ok, so I haven't had any kind of flu, fever, or cold, or any other kind of illness in the past two years. I'm 18, the last time I had a flu fever thing was when I was 16. I had a temp of 103 and it hurt for me to move, sometimes it got so bad that it hurt to roll over in bed.

I went to the hospital and they gave me some type of steroid that made me feel better within an hour. Since that day, I haven't been sick at all. Not even a runny nose. Is it because of the steroids they gave me, or am I just living some healthy lifestyle that I'm not really paying attention to?

**I'm not wishing myself to get sick, I just want to know why I haven't been sick. And yes, I know I'm blessed because I haven't been sick for a long time.**

Oh honey, so many people out there would trade. I don't know why you aren't getting sick. Luck of the draw, good immune system, God looking out for you, healthy lifestyle. It's hard to say, don't complain, don't look in the corners for something, just enjoy and live your life to the fullest. Congratulations on your good health, sure hope it continues.

You sound like my father he never gets sick, you should just be happy.

I think its great you havent been sick. It means your healthy and there's nothing to worry about. So just relax and enjoy life!

You just have a good immune system. I tend not to get sick that often. I have pretty good success in fighting off colds when I do think I am going to get sick, I load up on the vitamin C , and get over it in 24 hours. To be honest I have been working for 3 years now , and have not called out sick, I have left early though one day because I was fighting a cold. I know people that it seems like every time I see them they are sick. My boyfriend is the same way he does not get sick, since I have known him he has not been sick.

I wouldnt curse yourself. Even bringing it up may end up making you sick. I dont exactly know how you are not getting some type of cold virus, because they are everywhere! You arent isolating yourself from the rest of the world somewhere are you? LOL
I have 4 children, all attend school, and I promise you at least once a month, one of them is getting some sort of sickness. Sometimes, when one gets it, we all get it!
I also want to add, that maybe you are getting enough vitamin C in your diet to help boost your immune system to fight off all those "bugs". 2 of my 4 came down with the flu the first part of October. Pediatrician told me to give them vitamin C everyday. I talked to Pharmacist at Walmart and he said that you can take up to 2000mg of it daily. Of course, for a child they only need one 500mg chewable tablet and they are good to go.

Its a good thing not to be sick and I dont think it was the steroid. It is your own immune system that keeps you well.
