Am i really not fit to be a mother? |
I am 33 wks, I had real bad symtoms prevailing from Friday night to Sunday morning. I was fine while i was walking but could not sit or sleep with the pain on my right side. So i decided to go to ER..tried calling OB/GYN but as soon as i heard the voicemail i hung up..and right after i got off my bed...and went to hospital with my husband. I spent almost 8 hrs there...with the results all coming out perfectly normal, but leaving me with the pain. I still have it but it is not as bad. I figured out on Monday that is must be ROUND LIGAMENTS...My OB did not wana pay me a visit to the hospital on a Sunday..and got mad with the nurse who could not release me..so sent me to ER..well after that i was told to follow up with my OB/GYN ...they called me on Monday and made an appointment for Tues. I still had the pain but not as bad...on my apt..the Ob got so mad..first off because of Sunday..then i was wearing a regular jeans (my fault) then i was anaemic (that happens to everyone) but... my question is..was the OB right to tell me that i was mentally not fit..to be a mother..i mean my baby is perfectly normal...then she said ppl like me should not be allowed to have babies..i do not understand why she was so mad..also mentioned that she will let her midwife take care of me..cuz she could not handle me...she has seen me 4 times only..also recommended me to change doctors..she often calls my husbadn irresponsible too..as i go on regular OB checks by myself..but i go because its close to my work and i told my husband i am fine to go...my OB also hardly takes any effort to tell me the do's and don'ts...i learn it from the internet only... Its sounds ridiculous on her part.. really! Hey you are so much fit to be a mother and I am sure you and your husband will be wonderful parents. You are only concerned and that idiotic woman!! You OB sounds like an a ss. You should find a new one who's not so uptight. I don't think you're doing anything wrong except being concerned about unexplained pain. I am sure that you shall make a very good Mum. Lots of people have problems during pregnancy. Don't let anyone tell you that your not fit to be a Mum. Why would the doctor think you're unfit to be a mother? It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. (Your jeans? If they fit, what's wrong with wearing them?) Even if you were "unfit", the OB should NOT be acting like this. It's entirely unprofessional, and you need their help. I would find a new Doctor, she/he sounds mean! You don't need that stress. Time to find a new ob/gyn, this one sounds a bit off the rocker. I'm so sorry that you aren't being treated with respect. |
