Please help I am scared badly...need advise?

major car wreck (50 mph) 11 days ago..admitted 3 days hospital and released. Severe nausea and pain ion stomach, severe dizziness, pallor..diagnosed with internal bleeding.. scalene laceration and liver laceration.. grade 2 or 3 ..was going to remove my spleen and part of liver..then decided to watch and wait..hospitalized 3 days or so..there said they do not have to remove it..they released me at 7 hemoglobin..normal is 12 or 13..a month before accident last blood work showed anemia..

What can I do not to make it bleed more and to heal it...are there any behavioral or herbal treatment...I got home and typed for 2 hours and now feeling abdominal pains and nausea and am scared maybe I made it worst...no car if need to go to hospital..should I stay in bed (they said to walk in physical therapy..only gave me pain med prescription and said return in one week and dont lift

can fear make it hurt more? What can I do..would cayenne stop the bleeding (they said the blood in abdomen would

gradually reabsorb and the wounds close up..I don't want to do anything that would cause it to re injure or lose my spleen..can herbs help..should I do nothing but rest in bed?

If you are concerned get proessional help the internet doesn't count! No it is not necessary to take any other drugs for stopping bleeding and as far as i am aware no herbal remedies help. Are you experiencing worsenning nausea and pain in stomach, severe dizziness, pallor? If so GO TO HOSPITAL NOW. It could be serious. Good nutrition is important for healing, so if you are too nauseas to eat then you need some medications for this (see a GP). Fear will not help things and anxiety make pain seem much worse. Have you got a friend you can talk to?

meds, some assurance of what to look for and how long it might take to recover and that the blood will take several weeks to reabsorb,..I was suddenly released after being told I could wait till my son (who was leaving at 2 pm to go out of town) got off work at 5 am. Report It

I could leave next day..at 8 they came in and said I had to leave in a half hour and that I would have to pay for a day stay if I did not leave..at first they said midnight and when I became distraught they threw me out right away... Report It

only a call to the supervisor got me an additional half hour to read my record and stuff they told me when I said if I took a cab I could not carry the three heavy bags with books and clothes and bipap machine to carry it myself even though they said o not carry over 5 pounds. Report It

.I think this one mean nurse got mad at me when she insisted I saw the doctor and did not have an iron pill when he did not and when I did have the pill an hour ago and when I said the iv burned (as it did the last two times) that I was lying and Report It

she must have done something as they came in and said here is your stuff to shower but then would not let me suddenly discharging me..I was so distraught I ciuld barely dress..they would not let me keep my possessions there till my son could Report It

pick them up at 5 am (it was 9 pm when they kicked me out with no warning and no ride...until I called a supervisor and they let me..the hospital was awful and only a few good nurses but t Report It

the trauma team was good except for the one who threw me out and the support personnel not on the floor was good..most nurses were awful and tthey never answered the call button..I think I was discharged too quickly. Report It

relatives had trouble n the past at this hospital but I was transported their by ambulance from the nice hospital I was at as they were trauma specialists..the nice other one told me my spleen and part of liver would be removed but the mean hospital saved it..thank god for that doctor Report It

Wow, that sounds like you have gone through a lot.

Are you covered by insurance (HMO or PPO)? Ask your hospital to speak with a social worker or counselor. I found it helped to talk with someone after my surgery.

If you have concerns about this, call your doctor at home. That's my first choice, since your primary care physician should be aware of this.

If you don't feel comfortable calling the doctor at this hour, then call your emergency room, tell them what your feeling, and they can assess whether they need to get you in or not. And if they have to, they'll call your doctor.

I hope this is normal recovery, but the one who should be answering these questions is a professional.

do you still have internal bleeding. you are still bleeding they shouldnt have released you. i would call your local fd or resuce squad. explain to them the situtation and then if they stay you need to go the hospiotal htey should put you up and take you. btu i would say you need to go back
