This is kinda dumb..........but how many calories do you burn by dieing?

would there be a diffrence if you were in a hospital bed or got shot or what?

I think no more calories are burn in order to keep the body funcioning
BUT
the corpse is still there, flesh and bones are calorie sources. they remain there and are consumed by maggots, bacteria and all those bugs wich helps decomposing.

getting dead would be the point where u stop consuming calories and become a source of calories

Dying requires no energy. Hence you would burn no calories. As long as you are alive, though, you can burn calories by exercising (voluntarily or otherwise). So, basically, it is how you live that burns calories or adds calories.

ahhahah great question! i have no idea about the actual act of dying...but after you're dead, your body will lose weight forever until it's gone...although you won't burn any calories, because your metabolism stops, because of decomposition, you'll continue to look thinner and thinner until you turn to dust.

Sorry Huey, But I'm Still Alive! ^^ I think that you burn or lose all your calories, because you decay while you're dead. and well I don't think that a skeleton has calories.
