Why does a stroke victim in the hospital have a sudden drop in blood pressure?


what causes a sudden drop in blood pressure while in bed in hospital while recovering from a massive stroke.

possibly due to neurogenic shock. It affects the blood vessels by causing vasodilation, leading to hypotension.

Blood thinning medication
Loss of blood from bleeding
Sepsis, a severe blood infection
A reaction to medication
anaphylaxis
