Would to much co2 make you sleep alot? and have problems laying in bed. please help me out.? |
ok my father n law is diabetic and is on oxygen,well he sleep so much and i cant keep him awake and when he goes to bed at night he says he cant sleep in his bed (hospital bed) so he sleeps in his recliner. he does alot of hand movement and talks weird stuff. he is on 1liter oxygen 24/7. Im new to this stuff and need advice can anyone help me out on this. he was also suppose to do a pulp sleep but he didnt want to cuz the mask to tight but i think he needs it. He's probably more comfortable in the recliner because he isn't lying flat. This is normal for someone with breathing problems. You can adjust the tightness of the mask. I would not worry about his talking and moving in his sleep. Many of us do that when we sleep and don't even know it. Just let him be comfortable and adjust the mask so it isn't too tight for him. Talk to his doctor about him being sleepy all the time. That's what they are for. |
