In a hospital bed after surgery - older nurse keeps coming in to clean me!!!!?

I think she wants to do something sexual with me because she keeks cleaning my private parts and I had surgery on my knee. What should I do?

Believe me, she is not trying to 'put the moves' on you. In the hospital, it is very important to make sure that skin in your private areas are clean and dry. Urine and feces can cause skin breakdown. I guarantee that is is only due to repetition--she is not even thinking about it. If she is doing it too much, tell her "I don't need that type of care right now."

Do NOT make any allegations (such as one of the other posters said call the patient advocate) unless you are sure that you are being sexually abused, as that it is a VERY serious claim and should not be taken lightly.

Ask for the head nurse to get you the patient advocate...immediately!!!

well, if you had surgery on your knee and you cant get out of bed to take a bath or shower... than you need to be cleaned. but if your only in the hospital for like a few days i dont know why she would keep doing that. Question her and see her reaction. If she is embarrassed or something tell someone.

suggest to the nurse that you can clean yourself now, and insist she allow you to do so.

dont be haughty, allow the nurse to do her ********

Don't wait any longer its enough your in for knee surgery and you have to endure this? You know what talk to another nurse and ask her how many times do you clean patients who had knee surgery then get into detail whats happening to you.

Inquire as to why she is doing this so often. With your surgery, you will have trouble walking and moving and so it's harder to shower and get to the bathroom. You can get dirty down there easily if you aren't cleaned properly. If you prefer to clean yourself then tell her so.

Tell a adult! Tell her to stop touching your no-no bits right now!

GO WITH THE FLOW...AND GIVE INTO THE NURSES ORDERS AND "DESIRES!!"...because DEEP DOWN you know U YOU DESIRE and really WANT IT!!! ;-)
