Question about at home cancer patients? |
I'm having a script filmed that takes place in a hospital room with a terminally ill patient. We're having trouble finding a location, so we might shoot it in the patient's bedroom at his house. It depends on how limited the patient is. A hospital bed, an overbed table, an overbed triangle for the patient to hold on to so he can pull himself up, a bedside commode, possibly a walker or wheelchair. It depends on the med status of the patient.. I mean if they are on iv meds there will be a pole and maybe a pump. If they are on oxygen there will likely be an o2 tank. Most home patients arent on any kind of telemetry (sp.. the heart monitors) monitoring so that should not be a worry. In what I have seen that probably will likely be all. But there is a possibility of any number of things. |
