What are some good ideas for care basket items? |
hey guys homemade posters of bands or people they like (me and my friend are good artists and I painted a psoter for thomas for his hospital room to liven it up and he loved it) No food, especially not anything homemade. Many cancer patients are neutropenic (meaning their immune system is weak due to chemotherapy) and homemade foods/foods from home can be full of germs. Often, they wont be allowed to eat them. Make some Homeade Goodies ~ I bet the families would like that because when they are in the hospital they hardly have time to eat. I don't have any suggestions Patsy but you are a good, good person to do this. You are too sweet - How about books? It doesn't matter if they are new or used. Both patients and visitors need something to help pass the time. |
