Doctors nurses any one in teh medical field PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

some technician took my blood pressure while i ahd the iv cathere in my vein but nothing was in it they left it in my incase i needed antibiotics and well the tech took my blood pressure on that same arm the cathere was in the vein like on the vein wehre you can bend it in front of your elbow and he checekd the blood pressure rite above it and i think he blew air into the vein and if it did how would they treat that please help im gettin exxtreme headacehs and ever since tehn my blood pressure is always high now!!! and right after he checkd my blood pressure with that in my vein he was like man i ahte this job and he pushed the blood pressure down and then a couple min later my nurse came and cheked my blood pressure and she did it on the other arm and i told her what happend and when she checed my blood pressure it was only 70 and i told her what that tech did and then she went to tell him something and they were talking and starin at me and looked worried

There is no harm from checking your blood pressure above an IV site. No air would be pumped into the IV by taking a blood pressure. Your going to be all right. You might want to keep an eye on your blood pressure though.

No harm in it at all.
Any air (highly unlikely) will just be absorbed by your body.
Any inaccuracy in the numbers will be sorted out by the 2nd check.
They were probably talking about something else.
Your headaches are most likely from worrying.
You are fine.
Move on.

They shouldn't have taken the blood pressure on the arm with the cannula. The cannula shouldn't have been in the elbow joint site either. normally on the back of the hand.
