Hi there. I don't know what kind of operations you've had or what they were supposed to achieve, so I can't really comment on that.
It would be really good if you could find out exactly what's causing your infections in the first place, so that you could deal with the cause instead of just the horrible symptoms.
I suffered recurrent infections for a couple of years, and the cause turned out to be pretty simple, if a bit odd. My digestive system wasn't in great shape, which meant my body was riddled with Candida. This can spread to your ears and cause an infection. If you ever feel any itching in your ears, look into taking a probiotic supplement to rebalance your good tummy flora.
You may also be low in zinc - the ear canal is lined with zinc to keep out infection. If you are low in zinc or clean your ears to often, this can leave you open to infection.
To treat even my most painful ear infections, I found the quickest solution was to buy some hydrogen peroxide (available at any supermarket or chemist) and use it like ear drops. It bubbles and crackles like mad in your ears if there's any kind of bug in there, but it really works for me. For an acute infection, apply the peroxide several times a day. Once the infection clears up, it probably wouldn't hurt to use it once a week or so for a while just to keep your ears clear.
Peroxide only deals with the infection, not the pain, so all I can suggest for that is strong pain killers, preferably containing some kind of anti-inflammatory (like Ibuprofen). I know how bad you feel, and I sympathise. I truly hope my advice is of some help to you! Good luck :)

That is terrible. Please don't give up hope. Perhaps a neurologist could help.. Maybe there is some sort of pain disorder due to your condition. Or even nerve damage (scarring) from some of the surgeries.

The lack of sleep and chronic pain will take a toll on your body. I truly hope you find the correct answer. Take care.
