thanks for your input the nurse who recomened kegal exersize tell me more and one more thing im still on antibiotics levaquin 500mg as well as they gave me iv of it in the hospital a wek ago my question is im starting to pee more regulare still hard to get it started is it safe to have intercourse with ny wife or could that make the prostate inflame again.

Exercising the muscles around your pelvis (those who control your "peeing"). Kegel ecercises help you achieve better orgasms.

I would take medical advice if I were you rather than on here ...

I believe it's basically exercising your pelvic floor muscles.

A kegal exercise is when you squeeze on hold your muscles on the inside of your upper thighs by your penis. Kind of like when you are trying to hold it when you have to take a piss.

The idea here is to squeeze and hold, repeatedly and each time holding longer. You can do this exercise at your desk while sitting and no one knows.

Ask your doctor about the other stuff.

To answer your first question: Kegal exercises are a serious of muscle contractions that you control that strengthen the pubococcygeal muscles (PC muscles). Kegals are very simple to do. Either sitting or standing tighten your PC muscles as if you are trying to stop a stream of urine. Hold each squeeze for 8 seconds, and do this 8 times. These exercises help to control orgasm, prevent pre-mature ejaculation, and improve bladder control.

In terms of having intercourse with your wife. I would not recommend engaging in intercourse until you have completed the antibiotic therapy. You dont want to spread the bacterial infection to your wife. This is extremely possible because a part of the semen comes from the prostate gland. My suggestion in terms of intercourse is to wait until all your symptoms have been successfully treated.
