I have stomache flu! today iv been vomiting w/ diarrhea.HELP! MY LICENSURE EXAM WILL BE THE DAY AFTER TOM!!!? |
iM quite positive i have stomach flu (viral gastoenteritis),I probably got it at my grandparent's coz I took care of them when they both had it just 2 days ago and now I have it too! I started vomiting and pooping watery stools early this morning. The prob is Ill be having my nursing licensure exam the day after tom! this is important to me and I cant move it to any other day. Im aware that this is most probably viral so antibiotics wont work and will be cured on its own but is there any way that I can get rid of this faster? Like overnight? Im slightly dehydrated but Im doing my best to replace my fluids and electrolytes. Any expert advise? I havent eaten anything coz I dont want this to become worse. Ill probably eat just crackers. What else can I have? please help me, I cant take the exam with this condition! :( When I took boards it only took me about an hour. So, if you still have this when you go try taking Imodium about 1/2 hour before you go in for the diarrhea. As for the vomiting, try just eating crackers and drinking some Sprite or 7UP that morning before you test. Hopefully you test fast, if not you can take breaks if you need to. Pray, and try to drink a little water, or suck on ice chips. But seriously pray to the good Lord, and He will listen, also pray for a great result on your test. You should be fine by tomorrow. My son just had this the other day, and he was good to go by the next day. He was even craving a Big Mac! Gross! Anyways, Good Luck!! |
