AFTER MY WIFE GETS THE HEAD OFF THEN THERE IS CLEAR FLUID IN THEM AN THEY ARE VERY VERY PAINFUL IAM A WELDER SO I HAVE TO WEAR A WELDING CAP AND A WELDING HOOD 4 ABOUT 8HRS A DAY.THEY DON'T HEEL FAST AT ALL IT MAY TAKE WEEKS TO HEEL GIST ONE THE MOST I HAVE EVER HAD WAS 4 TO 5 AT ONE TIME . THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THAT ONE TIME I HAD MERSA 2 YEARS AGO BUT I WENT THREW IV ANTIBIOTIC TREATMENT THAT TOOK 4 WEEKS AN THE SORES WERE NOTHING LIKE THIS ANYWAYS I HAVE BEEN USING MEDICATED SHAMPOO CALLED HIBICLENS AN THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO HELP MUCH WELL I CANT THINK OF ANY OTHER DETAILS TO ADD BUT MAYBE SOMEONE CAN HELP PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS THANK U

It sounds like your sebaceous glands are infected (im a hairdresser) My brother had a similar thing and he wears a helmet for work too. Your doctor should have a simple solution. What can sometimes help though is if you get a pack of Bi-carb soda and mix it with warm water into a paste.Massage it in thoroughly and leave for 5 to 10 mins.Rinse out. This will help cleanse the surface gently. As the glands are on the inside though this will only be a temporary relief so go see your doctor.Good luck

It's time to see your doctor. ASAP.

could it be a bug or spider bite?

the medicated shampoo should help=you might be sweating when you are wearing the helmet for so many hours and that is why you are getting these sores

It could simply be blisters from the welding cap or it could be something more serious. I would let your family doctor know or if you use a walk-in clinic, talk to the doctor in there. The bumps you describe need to be physically examined by a doctor and not over the internet.

Your doctor is the best person to diagnois this problem. Doesn't sound too serious, but I would have it checked out. You may well be allergic to something you use at your house. It is possible for people to develop alergies to things they have had constant contact with for years. Ask your doctor to be safe.

I would see your doctor. I would guess it is sweat pimples caused by the protective clothing you must wear on your head. Most people who have to wear hats for work get them, but your doctor might be able to recommend a way of avoiding them.

my husband who wears a welding cap all day too under his hard hat gets these little bumps too the are nothing but blocked sweat glands. They have nothing to do with being dirty. your cap blocks the sweat from being able to evaporate as quickly as it would if you were cap free. To clear my hubby's up in the summmer time he keeps his hair cut into a flattop and in the winter he just tries to remember to take his cap off at lunch. Another thing that helps is to wear a different cap everyday and to wash them after one days use since they get saturated with sweat and to rinse the sweat out of your hair during breaks or at lunch. a wet bandana rubbed over you head 2-3 times a day also works quite well
