Infection and what to do?

well this is what has happend i am off IV antibiotics because they our doing nothing. my infection is still present and my ER doctor has made an apointment with my surgeon for tuesday so he can make the decsion on what to do.
i dont have fever anymore but my tempurture is around 36.5 c
so it is low the doctor is not to worried there. my infection in my neck is contained tehey said it is staying in the surrounding tissue it is still red and swollen. so i dont know what is going on or what will happen . any ideas or anyone i should see other then my surgeon. i am overwhelmed with this whole thing.

Has any doctor run a culture of any drainage? After 4 months of an unknown infection, 2 weeks of cultures resulted that I had a bone eating staph infection that ate my collarbone and 1/2 of my breast bone. Be persistant @ cultures. Once they get results then they can find the correct combo of antibiotics.
