Can i stop taking my antibiotics?

iv been using them for one day 1 tablet 3times a day and i feel better already.can i stop taking them or should i finish the course?

Always finish the course, otherwise the infection will come back. then it will become resistant to the antibiotic.

Finish course

You must finish the antibiotics or the infection will come back.

What Jam said - finish the course. The infection stands a very good chance of returning if you don't.

You need to finish the course otherwise your symptoms may come back and you will be ill again

Docs always tell you to finish the course, even if you feel better

NO. the doctor who trained fro many years worked out what treatment you need. complete the treatment even if feeling better.

You should always finish the course because the most stubbon bacteria will still be there, if you finish the course they should all be gone. If you finish it early if it comes back it may be resistant to the antibiotics. This is one of the ways antibiotic resistant bugs come about.

Everyone is right on with this one. By not finising the course your body builds a resistance to that abtibiotic. This means that the medicine may not even work if the infection does come back. Please stay on course

finish the course of tablets, i know you feel better but it's because of the tablets you are feeling better let them finsih doing there job.

you always need to finish antibiotics course otherwise the illness will reappear in a short period of time

Finish the course.

Finish the course, if you don't the infection will come back and you'll soon be ill again. I know, it happened to me.

NO you MUST finish the course, you might feel better but your body won't have got rid of the infection or whatever it is completely until you have finished all anti-biotics. Don't stop them or it may come back

finish the course or the infection will come back

No, it could cause a serious relapse. Take them as directed.*

Finish them. Why do you think the doctor gave you so many? Because if you stop now, the infection will come back, and it will be worse. Take them now or you'll have to take more later.

don't stop taking them. Finish all of the antibiotics as directed by the doctor. Even if you are feeling better you really need to finish all of them just to make sure. You do not to have a relapse and have to start all over with the meds.

you should carry on taking them, if you dont your symtoms will return and could be worse.
