Radiation for Hidradenitis Suppurativa? |
I've had H.S for 2 years now under my breasts. I've tried medications, and was even hospitalized for 2 weeks w/ IV antibiotics. Last year I had a large portion of my left breast removed, and my lesions came back within 3 months. Has anyone heard of or had radiation to treat this condition? I'm sick of this! Hi. I have had HS for over 15 years, so I can truly understand where you are coming from in wanting to find some relief for your pain. When I was first diagnosed, I was Stage 3 in the groin and borderline 2-3 in all other areas. Even though I had heard that surgery could cause the HS to travel to other areas of the body, I was desperate for relief and underwent surgery in the groin area. Within 1 year of the surgery, I had applied for SSDI, was approved and am considered to be disabled by SSA. i dont know but im sorry for you. |
