MRSA - Can you get it , or give it, to someone in intimate contact with no intercourse.? |
This is the situation on the MRSA -STAPH ? One of us had a Staph infection through the heel - foot. On IV antibiotics for 3 weeks in hospital, and 2 months at home IV antibiotics through a port. that was over a year ago, cleared if any infection. The other person now has MRSA on hand wound. Could they have got it from the person who had it over a year ago and cleared of it through intimate contact, foreplay with hands, mouth, etc.............. MRSA can live on surfaces, but not for a year. It was probably contracted from some other person or surface that was touched. MRSA is increasingly common - especially in hospital and clinic settings. |
