Does probiotic get rid of cystitis and any really good cures apart from antibiotics any1? |
iv suffered from it most of me life since i was about 6 and i used 2 get it lyk once a year now i get it nearly every month or sometimes weekly iv been to doctors and stuff been on antibiotics but they dont make me feel any better and i need to find a long term cure which will stop it comming back all the time. I really am the most anti-antibiotic doctor you could meet. However this is a no-no. Cystitis is annoying, it only affects the bladder, however left without antibiotic treatment a percentage of patients will go on to get infection spreading up the ureters to the kidneys. Here they cause pyelitis or pyelonephritis, this can cause permanent scarring to the kidneys. If this occurs repeatedly it can result in renal failure. loads of water and or cranberry juice Sorry, only one I know is cranberry juice. I used to have a supply in the fridge because I used to get it frequently. I'd drink two cartons of that and would be fine. Amazing what juice can do! The most common causes of bladder problems are tumors, infections, bladder stones, and old age. Incontinence, or involuntary urination, is a common ailment for older people--especially women--because the sphincter muscles that surround the urethra become gradually weaker with age. Most sufferers can be helped, but because there are different kinds of incontinence, it is important to have a doctor investigate the cause. Many drugs can contribute to the problem, so be sure to tell your doctor about any prescription or over-the-counter medication you are taking. Pro-biotic is to help the good bacteria in your bowl (i think). So no i don't think that will help. Just make sure you take in plenty of fluids. Hello there, |
