What is the current management of liver abscess? is IV antibiotic enough to treat large hepatic abscess? |
What is the current management of liver abscess? is IV antibiotic enough to treat large hepatic abscess? Please find a gastroenterologist for an evaluation. I have heard of many people having to have more than IV antibiotic. But in some cases that is all that is needed. Get at least one if not two more opinions. A liver abscess may be treated with medicine. Or, a doctor may drain (clean out) the abscess. This may be done through a needle or with surgery. |
