Just got off major doses of antibiotics (including an IV? |
of antibiotics) because of sever infection under tooth - throat almost closed upt and all -- but all okay there NOW -- and tooth was pulled. Just took last pill yesterday. TODAY I go to pee and it hurt really bad and when done (and very little which tells me bladder/urinary infection probably) -- there is now BLOOD -- quite obvious -- not a ton -- but just when you wipe you see it. Has anyone ever experienced this BECAUSE of antibiotics? I know it sounds horrible but I have to ask. I have no health insurance and this last ordeal cost me part of my rent as it is. So please don't say "go to the doctor" as it JUST started. I just want to see if anyone else has ever experienced this -- what it meant for them, etc. I have had breast cancer before -- I take BP meds and water pills too (BP under control with meds too right now -- was even kind of low). THANKS... PLEASE -- when you all don't understand I won't have rent money and we will end up on the street so I can't afford a doctor right now I am serious. I would prefer to die than live out there -- I work hard - have been working hard since I was 12 years old -- I DO NOT HAVE THE $$$ FOR A DOCTOR -- THAT IS ONLY FOR RICH PEOPLE. I CAN'T TAKE TIME OFF WORK TO GO TO THE HEALTH DEPT. EITHER OR I'LL GET FIRED -- MY TOOTH TOOK IT ALL AWAY FROM ME - IT WAS HORRIBLE -- PUKED FOR A WEEK TOO. Get some cranberry juice and yogurt. You might have a yeast infection or a UTI. May a little of both. The cranberry juice will help the UTI and the yogurt will replace the good bacteria that the antibiotic took away. I know you dont want to hear "go to the doctor" but with your medical history and the medicine you are still on that would be your best option......when there is blood in your urine that could be a sign of a serious problem. Please go see your doctor so that he can rule out any major problems. Probably a UTI or a yeast infection, try OTC rememdies until you can get to a free clinic. Bmacs' advice is good. Cranberry and yoghurt are both natural antioxidents and antibiotics. Make sure you are drinking lots of water as well, and if it persists, bite the bullet and go to the clinic. The fact that this has happened while on antibiotics may be a coincidence . You may have Kidney Stones. Some anti-biotic can cause yeast over growth. Please get to a doctor quickly If you have a job you can go to your local county department and apply for medical insurance it's called "atp" ability to pay..... |
