Is that bad? What could happen2me? What infections coud it cause? Will the pain go away?

I get ovarian cysts every WEEK. For me it starts out as pelvic pain, then it radiates into my back, which may be why that doctor thought it was a kidney stone. It gets to its high, then slowly goes away. They got there, well because, every woman gets them every month. Its just that most women have no symptoms and they are not large enough to cause any symptoms. In your case, they might've been larger, and they didn't just slowly melt away like most women, they just burst. And it doesn't cause any infection. Not that I know of. It might take a while, but the pain does go away. The only way to stop them, is to take birth control. A lot of women do, but a lot don't. I don't yet. So, just take it easy. Use a heating pad on your stomach, take some motrin, have a nice cup of tea, and relax.

I get ovarian cysts every month.
Mine generally are a constant dull ache with occasional stabbing pain to either side of my pelvic area.
I have the pain for about 4 days and then the cyst will burst which causes me to double over in pain for about a half hour. After it bursts I have no problems untill the next month.
My doctor told me that you can get scaring from repeated cysts that burst and the scar tissue can cause ovaries/tubes to become attached to each other which will cause you to need surgery.
I haven't had any problems with infections...I'm assuming that this is where the PID comes in in your instance.
A cyst forms when the egg sack continually fills with fluid during the time you ovulate. The only way to stop this is to go on the pill because it stops your ovulation
