I have strep b please read and answer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

im about to be 38 weeks i found out i have step b today
i have some concerns so please answer if you know about strep b or have had it

1. what if i pass my mucus plug early will the baby be at risk of getting it?

2. if you had it did they let your water break naturally or did they induce you?

3. what was the out come was your baby ok?

4. the iv they give u how does it make u feel does the antibiotic make you feel sick?

I was 40 weeks and already in labor when they discovered I had strep b. They ended up giving me a c-section because of it, but my daughter was born perfectly healthy so that's what was important. I wish you and your baby the best of luck!

passing the mucus plug does not expose baby to the "outside world" b/c he/she is still in the sac

babies are OK after this all the time ... it is relatively common.
