How can i prevent a UTI , and when do you know its gone to far!! with or with out medication!!? |
ok im 19 years old and i'v been getting alot of urine inffection ...and everytime i get it , it stings ,burns when i pee, and its just pain and wont let me sleep at night!! i drink cranberry juice , i take gel to stop the burning ..and antibaotics too... but sunddenly iv been peeing red like blood. i relly get this often but this is the first time i get it with blood! what can i do to prevent this from happening to me often...i relly hate it and why do you think a was peeing blood ?( this happen before i got the antibiotics!!) oh one more question im so sorry how long does it relly last!! First, make sure that you are wiping from front to back. Get cotton underwear or start going commando and sleep bottomless at night. Take 1000 mgs of Ester-C and stay on it. Cut down on sugar consumption. Are you having sex? If so, make sure to urinate before and after. Not doing this often results in a UTI. First of all, I feel your pain! UTI's are sooo painful, I've had two this year and I told myself I would do anything to not get another one. A strong antibiotic is the only thing that will really make it go away eventually, but while you're still waiting for that to kick in I would have someone go to the store for you and buy some Uristat or AZO standard which pretty much numbs the area. I've had blood in my urine before and that is one of the symptoms of a UTI so I wouldn't worry about it too much but you should see your doctor for the antibiotics. For prevention, I've been taking cranberry pills (which you can get at the grocery store) and they seem to help. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice and feel better! if you take apple cider vinegar at least one table spoon in 8 ounces of water one time a day after meals or three times a day this will cut down the infection rate and in many cases solve the problem. And be careful one side effect of drugs like atiacids ppi like any drug that reduces stomach acid will increase the chance of UTI Overuse of antibiotics causes most UTIs. |
