How do i increase my oxygen levels?


I have asthma. Iv'e seen the doc who told me to use blue, brown and green inhalers. Cough is driving me mad and i nearly passed out in morrisons. Doc said i wasn't getting enough oxygen. Gave me more antibiotics and a 'spacer' to use with my inhalers. Still feel giddy sometimes and have another appointment on friday. Is there any way to help myself?

why are you coughing. do you cough up phelm or is it a dry cough.
using the inhalers is of coarse the right thing to do. using the spacer is also correct .taking the anitbiotics is good asumming you have an infection. .
i am sure you know that smoking is a no no . dogs and cats not great and exposer to anything your allergic to is unwise.
since your too sick now to exersise that wont help. after when your better exersise is good and very helpfull.
You say you feel giddy i take that to mean excited shaky.
the shaky feel you have is more then likely due to the inhalhers.
. really all you can do to help yourself is make sure your home is clean . . make sure you avoid milk or dairy products as i am assuming you have an infection in your lungs.
if this cough you have is the kind that results in your coughing up phelm and that phelm is colored then some cough expectrent
could help break up the phelm and get it out of your chest.
if your cough just brings up clear phelm then the same med is good .
If your cough is dry and nothing is coming up then cough drops
or cough meds that are for a dry cough might help at least to stop the cough.
you are most likely suffering from a very high heart rate and high blood pressure so checking with the same pharmacy that you got the inhallers from about the cough meds is very important.
I dont know if you take other meds or suffer from other condtions you dont mention so at least ask that pharmacy about taking the cough meds.
drink clear fuilds sleep sitting up. be in clear air . no winter cold air . some warming pads on your back chest area may help ease the muscle discomfort as would the various rubs like ruba535 all that kind of stuff. some steam in your home
rest and go to the appointment is every thing you can do at for yourself. except you might want to drink clear tea . or pepermint tea. that is all .

Healthy eating regime and exercise would be good

get a lot of plants..plants produce oxygen. Hang them from your ceilings, and get ones to put on the floor and tables. And they also look nice.

Know nothing of asthma, how to treat it, etc, so with that in mind, here's what I can share:
When I quit smoking I was struggling for breath, and was told to drink 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper diluted in something (I chose applecider). The cayenne pepper supposedly enabled the red blood cells to carry more oxygen.
I did this treatment for about a week, upping the dose to 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (definitely an acquired taste!) and the applecider gave me gas, which could have turned me into a virtual flamethrower, so watch out!
Anyway, it did make me feel lots better, was breathing much easier, but this could have been due to placebo effect, getting over the hump of not smoking, etc. But hey, see if someone else on this forum can back up my experience, or try it for yourself. Good luck.

walk up inclines slowly
until you have starting breething but make sure you have you medicine at hand
