My wisdom teeth were removed, now my gums are comming up over my back teeth! can any 1 help?

i had my bottom two wisom teeth removed last monday... i havent had any trouble with any pain at all... but i havent been able 2 eat solid food since sunday and itz saturday night! ..... i hav a stupid gum flap comming up over my back teeth, where the stitches are....so i cant bite down.....
i want a sandwich really bad!
does anybody kno why my gumz are actin crazy?
iv been gargalin salt water 2 keep it clean... and i just got done takin antibiotics... can i put peroxide on it or something incase its infected?

I think they're supposed to do that.

Anything to do with teeth, you should see a dentist.

call the doctor who did the work, he should fix your problem and not charge you more as he did the work thats bothering you now.

I had my wisdom teeth out a couple of months ago and I could not eat solid food for 2.5 weeks. Your gums are probably swollen - swelling can last for like 10 days or something. It's very doubtful that it's infected since you just got done with your antibiodics. I know, it's totally miserable. :(

You might want to make an appointment with your dentist just for follow up to make sure everything is fine.

this is normal for have your wisdom teeth out. the gums will stay a little swollen until the stitches are taken out.stay with soft food for a few more days. keep up with the salt water and go back to the dentist for your follow up if you keep having trouble.

the same thing happened to me. i heal very quickly and my skin grew over the stitches and it hurt like hell when the dentist had to cut them. hopefully you have the dissolvable kind. what you're experiencing is normal. i lived on broth the first few days, then i moved up to pureed for a few days, then i went back to solid food. the sandwich shouldn't be a big deal depending on what's on it. the bread will dissolve as soon as you eat it. you may also need to just take very small bites or get some anbusol.

I'm sorry for what had happened to you,but it's just normal thing for a person to experience that kind of stuff as long as we have teeth.Hahaha..i'm just teasing you.I just want you to smile.Anyway,If I were you I would call my Dentist and ask her/him what had happened to my gum.It's her/his job to advise you on what to do.But,actually I had that experience one time when i had my new porcelain cap in one of my lower teeth. I just took pain reliever and after awhile it subsides.Maybe it was just trauma from the extractions of the two wisdom teeth last Monday.I know you need to eat something not hard enough to bite to avoid problems related to that...or better yet call your Dentist now.I don't think it's safe to self prescribe my dear.Thanks and God bless.
