Anatomical locations to start IV infusion?

Anatomical locations to start IV infusion?

The only location I will ALLOW an IV infusion on my person is the back of my left hand. That's from 40 years of IV infusion experiences. And if they can't get it right on the first try, I offer no second chances.

Forearm, and wrist are the best places so the patient still has mobility.

Ask me this here in 12 months and I might know.

On top of the hand, behind the wrist, and on behind the elbow.

Back of the hand best place. You can use the AC but than they can't bend their elbow. Never in the wrist.
